What Is Breast Augmentation?
Breast Augmentation is a procedure to enhance the female breast
with either saline or silicone gel implants. This surgery can
help women who suffer from a conditions know as hypomastia or
have loss in breast volume after pregnancy or weight loss.
Breast Augmentation surgery can greatly enhance the cosmetic
appearance of the female breast and giving many women greater
confidence and self esteem.

Many women feel uncomfortable with their breast size
and shape. Women just want to look more feminine and
well proportioned in clothing or a swimming suite.

How Is Breast Augmentation Surgery Performed?
Breast Augmentation Surgery: Breast augmentation surgery involves a
small incision on the areola or breast fold to create a precise pocket
under the muscle. The breast implant is then placed in this pocket.
The implant will increase the size and change the shape of the woman's breast.

The surgeries are performed in our accredited outpatient surgical centers located in

What Is The Average Length Of Breast Augmentation Procedure?
The average length of Breast Augmentation Procedure is 90 minutes.
An additional hour is spent in our recovery room under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What Type Of Anesthesia is used For Breast Augmentation Surgery?
We perform this procedure under general anesthesia administered by a
board certified anesthesiologist. You will be asleep during the procedure
and will awaken within minutes after the surgery is completed. We feel
that our patients are most comfortable using this form of anesthesia.
Anesthesia services are listed as a separate cost for this procedure.
What Are the Risks Involved In Breast Augmentation Surgery?
Risks are very uncommon with this type of surgery.
These uncommon risks would include scar tissue formation or capsular contracture,
bleeding, infection and sensory loss.
What Is The Postoperative Period Like?
You will have discomfort and swelling of the breasts
for several days after surgery. All patients are sent
home with prescriptions for pain medication, muscle
relaxants and antibiotics. We also recommend wearing a
compression garment for 6 weeks after Breast Augmentation
surgery to achieved the best results.
Full healing takes approximately six to 12 weeks.
How Many Post Operative Visits Are Required After Breast Augmentation Surgery?
For our patients in the Orange County area we recommend
4 post operative visits at one, three, six and 12 weeks
to insure proper healing and excellent results.
For our patients from out of town we recommend,
if at all possible, a post operative visit at three to four weeks.
When Can I Return To Work Post Breast Augmentation Surgery?
Most patients return to work in 2 to 4 days after surgery.
Medical excuse letters for work are available upon request.
When Can I Resume Exercise Post Breast Augmentation Surgery?
We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for at least 6 weeks.
Will Breast Augmentation Surgery Result In Decrease Skin or Nipple Sensation?
For the vast majority of women should not notice any loss of sensation after surgery.
What Is The Fee For Breast Augmentation Surgery?
The fee for Breast Augmentation Surgery starts at $6000.00.
This fee includes the surgeon's fee, implants, anesthesia
and operating room fees, and all postoperative visits.
