What Is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure that changes the shape and/or size of the nose. The procedure involves injections of hyaluronic acid filler into the soft tissues of the nose to correct familial cosmetic shape and proportion disharmony. Many who have already had a traditional rhinoplasty procedure and need a second procedure to correct asymmetry and defects now have a more effective and cost conscious method . Correction of secondary rhinoplasty defects is one of the most important uses of non surgical rhinoplasty.
Why Would I Want Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Surgery?
The two main reasons are cosmetic: 1. to improving the natural esthetics of your nose and 2. correcting residual defects after a primary or secondary rhinoplasty procedure.

Yes. Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is a relatively new procedure and must be performed by an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who understands the surgical anatomy and artistic proportions of the nose. Also some filler materials are not suitable and should be avoided.

Trust a Board Certified Rhinoplasty Surgeon when considering Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
Plastic surgeons are trained to understand the anatomy and artistic nature of this procedure and desired results that patients expect. When exploring a doctors creditials, it is important to understand the differences in training that define the educational process leading to Board Certification. What makes the M.D.(medical doctor) degree special? Sometimes determining the differences between “doctors” is not as easy as it sounds. If a professional starts his title with “Dr.” or “Doctor” he can be a PhD.(doctor of philosophy), a “D.C.” a chiropracter, “DDS” or “DMD” are dentist, “D.O.” are doctors of osteopathic medicine, “DpM” are podiatrist, and M.D. are traditional medical doctors. MD’s and DO’s are the two groups of doctors that perform non-surgical rhinoplasty. Examples of M.D. schools in California would be UCLA, USC, Stanford, UC San Franscico, UC San Deigo. The two osteopathic schools in Calfornia are Western University and Touro University. I believe that when deciding on a rhinoplasty surgeon (surgical or non-surgical) you should consider board certified surgical specialists. Look at the surgeon’s training after medical school. Look at the surgeon’s board certifications. After you have researched a doctors credentials, the next step is to schedule a consultation. At your Spa Aesthetica consultation, our Coordinator will facilitate the entire process and help you make an informed comfortable decision.
