Brazilian Butt Lift

Conveniently located to serve Orange County, CA

The Brazilian butt lift is a procedure that enhances the size and appearance of one’s gluteal area. For many, having a butt that is disproportionate to the rest of their body can negatively affect their confidence. Increasing the volume and reshaping the buttocks creates better definition that can enhance your appearance.

Increase Your Butt Fullness

For many women, full, shapely buttocks are a symbol of femininity and sensuality. When the gluteal area lacks fullness, it can appear undefined. The Brazilian butt lift uses fat transfer to achieve a fuller backside. For many women, this helps them fill out pants better and opens a wider range of clothing for them to wear.

Restore Balance to Your Figure

A small butt may be preventing you from having attractive curves. For some, curves are an important aspect of creating a proportionate figure. Your buttocks may lack definition in comparison to the rest of your body.

Enhance Your Confidence

For many women, achieving sensual curves helps them feel more attractive. Feeling comfortable and happy with your body often boosts your confidence. Having better self-esteem can help you be more assertive and hands-on in your life. Many women find that their newfound confidence dramatically affects their success in other areas of their lives.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift?

The best candidates for a Brazilian butt lift are people who have maintained a healthy diet and regular exercise but are not experiencing positive results for their buttocks. It will be important for a candidate to have enough fat to remove from another part of the body (called a donor site) for transfer to the buttocks.

A Brazilian butt lift is also recommended for people who are in good overall health. Patients with medical conditions relating to incision healing and people with habits like smoking and alcohol consumption risk excessive bleeding during surgery and slower healing afterwards.

Refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol four to six weeks before and after the procedure to get the best results.

The decision to undergo a Brazilian butt lift should be your own and no one else’s. Being influenced by other people may lead to unsatisfactory results and regrets.

The result of this procedure varies from person to person. Because of this, it is best to have realistic goals.

What to Expect From the Brazilian Butt Lift

During your consultation, we will evaluate your natural body type and butt shape to discuss the best options to achieve your butt enhancement goals. During the first part of your procedure, liposuction is used to remove excess fatty tissue from troublesome areas of the body such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, and back. The removed fat is processed to eliminate unwanted oil and other tissues. This processed fat is then injected into the buttocks through three small incisions using a syringe attached to a cannula. The fat is grafted in multiple layers to tailor the shape of the buttocks, which helps ensure a smooth deposit of fat. The incisions are then closed with sutures. A compression garment is used in the weeks following your surgery to facilitate healing and to help ensure good results.

Brazilian Butt Lift FAQ

  • What will my recovery be like following a Brazilian butt lift?

You will experience some bruising, swelling, and redness after the procedure. Direct pressure cannot be applied to the buttocks for eight weeks. Direct pressure on the buttocks during recovery will reduce blood circulation and injure the transferred fat cells.

For the first two weeks following your procedure, you should avoid sitting or laying on your back at all times. After this time, you may attempt a sitting position using a pillow to take pressure off the buttocks. Wear a compression garment for eight weeks to minimize swelling and discomfort and to prevent blood clots. Pain medication will be prescribed to help ease any pain during recovery.

Most major swelling should subside after three months. By this time, you should be able to resume your normal activities, including sitting and exercise, but only with your surgeon’s approval.

  • Is a Brazilian butt lift painful?

General anesthesia is used during the Brazilian butt lift for a pain-free procedure. You may feel mild discomfort following your procedure. All associated discomfort is controlled using oral pain medication prescribed by your doctor.

  • How much does a Brazilian butt lift cost?

The cost of a Brazilian butt lift is determined on a patient-by-patient basis. Many factors, including surgical fees, anesthesia fees, and the extent of correction, will affect the ultimate cost of your procedure. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average surgeon/physician fee for a Brazilian butt lift in 2015 was $4,103, but this does not include the cost of anesthesia, operating room facilities, or other related expenses. We will provide you with an exact quote during your initial consultation.
