Trust a Board Certified Rhinoplasty Surgeon when considering Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
Plastic surgeons are trained to understand the anatomy and artistic nature of this procedure and desired results that patients expect. When exploring a doctors creditials, it is important to understand the differences in training that define the educational process leading to Board Certification. What makes the M.D.(medical doctor) degree special? Sometimes determining the differences between “doctors” is not as easy as it sounds. If a professional starts his title with “Dr.” or “Doctor” he can be a PhD.(doctor of philosophy), a “D.C.” a chiropracter, “DDS” or “DMD” are dentist, “D.O.” are doctors of osteopathic medicine, “DpM” are podiatrist, and M.D. are traditional medical doctors. MD’s and DO’s are the two groups of doctors that perform non-surgical rhinoplasty. Examples of M.D. schools in California would be UCLA, USC, Stanford, UC San Franscico, UC San Deigo. The two osteopathic schools in Calfornia are Western University and Touro University. I believe that when deciding on a rhinoplasty surgeon (surgical or non-surgical) you should consider board certified surgical specialists. Look at the surgeon’s training after medical school. Look at the surgeon’s board certifications. After you have researched a doctors credentials, the next step is to schedule a consultation.
